Have you considered a career in the countryside? Rural Surveyors are in demand and the industry needs more…….

We are seeing an ever-increasing demand for agricultural valuers and many farmers and landowners rely on their trusted advisors with navigating the changing government policies, climate change, world economics and embracing new technologies.

At Selby Rural, we are proud to support our hardworking clients and build lasting relationships, particularly as the demands increase on rural land use for:

  • the best farming and food
  • more renewable energy and its transmission
  • nature and biodiversity
  • housing a growing population
  • infrastructure from water to telecommunications
  • forestry for timber and carbon
  • leisure, tourism and public access
  • landscapes that help define the country

The CAAV (Central Association of Agricultural Valuers) which Tom and Carys are both Fellows of and play an active role in the Cheshire and North Wales local associations are keen to promote the profession far and wide. Learn all about the varied work we carry out and the interesting elements of the day to day job here.

This week (w/c 21 Oct)  the new initiative called “Route to Rural” is being promoted and at Selby Rural we are encouraging anyone reading this whether that be clients, other allied trades and professions, young farmers clubs, discussion group fiends  or indeed anyone with an interest or desire to know more, to enquire about a possible visit to local schools and colleges, or an informal discussion to learn about this wonderful profession we are proud to be part of.

If anyone would like to find out more, please always feel free to call, we would love to hear from you  – 01829 423183.
